A: No. Applicants are never charged a fee at Island Temporary Nursing.

Q: How are shifts assigned?

A: Island Temporary Nursing Travel Nurses work on contracts and must be able to work any day and any shift during the duration of the contract.

Q: How long are the contracts?

A: Contract duration could be 13 weeks or more at a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Q: How often do I get paid?

A: Island Temporary Nursing employees receive their paychecks every Friday of the following week that they have worked.

Requirements:

To qualify for the Travel Nurse Program, you must:

  • Have at least two years of clinical experience
  • Have excellent references
  • Have current CPR and First Aid
  • Have current TB clearance
In addition, you must:
  • Be willing to obtain an RN license from the State of Hawaii at your own expense
  • Must be willing to commit to a 13-week contract at a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Must be flexible and willing to work any day, any shift, and during holidays
