Personal Assistants
Qualifications:
-Must have current CPR & First Aid
-Must have current TB clearance and immunization records
-Must have at least 6 months experience
-Must be able to exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally
-Requires sitting, standing, some bending and stooping associated with a home care client
Job Description:
-Obtain basic measures including blood pressure, respiration, pulse, height, weight, and intake and output from stable clients
-Provide basic physical care and assistance with activities of daily living
-Assist client in transporting to chair, bed, commode, and/or wheelchair
-Assist in general household chores
-Provide nutritional support
-Assist in bath, grooming and dental hygiene
-Provide bladder and bowel assistance
-Provide community access assistance
-Assist with self-administered medication
